About Ally Free

Ally Free is a singer/songwriter from Huntsville, AL who's played at venues and bars/restaurants in the surrounding areas of their hometown such as Sidetracks Music Hall, Mars Music Hall, Rhythm on Monroe, Stovehouse, The Princess Theatre in Decatur featuring Robert Cray, to name a few.  They've also played Panoply Arts Festival and Microwave Dave Day in Huntsville, as well as The Bigfoot Blues Festival in Tennessee, which was headlined by The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band along with many other talented artists, and the prestigious Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island with The Black Opry.  Ally Free is also part of said group, The Black Opry, which is a very talented group of artists and industry professionals known as and are based out of Nashville, TN.  The City Winery, The Analog at Hutton Hotel, and OmniSound Studios, and The Bluebird Cafe with Julie Williams, Kaitlin Butts, and Angie K.; these are just a few venues in the Nashville area that Ally has performed.  They have also participated and performed in a Songwriter's Showcase at the Johnny Cash farm, which featured opening performances for Mark Alan Cash along with other talented singers/songwriters/musicians.  Ally was also a guest at The Wildhorse Saloon with Autumn Nicholas and Julie Williams, also of The Black Opry, for Ty Herndon's Love and Acceptance Concert which was a red carpet event. 

Ally's aspiration is that their music and lyrics will resonate with others as it has within their life.  With music being the universal language, they hope their language of music will speak to all of the future #AllyCats out there.  Their soulful rock sound and lyrics have more than enough stories to tell and relate to.  "Don't be shy, come on in, the water's fine.” #BeFreeMusic
